Thank you to Chelmsford Representatives

On behalf of the Initiative for Local Aid, we would like to thank Senator Fargo, Representative Atkins, Golden, Hall, and Nangle for their hard work this legislative session.  Your courage to champion the issue of educational equity has facilitated an increase in Chapter 70 School Aid for Chelmsford.  The increase will allow Chelmsford to keep a few of the first grade classrooms under twenty students, hire back three full time employees at the high school, keep two of our elementary counselors, and save four out of ten teacher positions that were to be cut.  Collectively, we appreciate the time you took to communicate with residents, officials, and fellow legislators. Thank you.
